Thank you GBC for letting us serve! The GBC Worship Team loves what we do!
Pray for us to refresh, renew, and have a fire burning to worship every week, every day!!! Despite any circumstances that come between us and God may we always look to Him to light
our way through the darkness!!
Be ready for yet another new song! “I Will Follow” by Chris Tomlin. We’ll be doing that in the few weeks!! Perfect for our vision!
Remember, worship is our response to what God has done/ is doing every moment in our lives! We must live out our worship! It is a response to who He Is! He deserves our praise! Our thankfulness! Our obedience! May we present our best sacrifices daily to being less of us and more of Him!
Love Grow Serve!

What an amazing time of worship we have had the last couple of weeks.. God is strengthening and growing our church family! What a blessing to be a part of something so awesome!
Remember- dig deep to withstand the winds of tomorrow!

Living out our Faith
Do not let your circumstances dictate your attitude. however. Dig down deep into your faith. Take the time to bother to get to know your Savior, your God!
“The tree on the mountain takes whatever the weather brings. If it has any choice at all, it is in putting down roots as deeply as possible.” (Each New Day, 1977)
Reading this today made me realize Throughout our lives, we will experience the blazing hot sun, the frigid cold, the beating of the wind and the suffocation of heavy rain. We will be weathered by the stuff of life. If we have any choice at all, it is to put our roots down deeply, like the tree on the mountain.
There is no room for empty religious rituals that make us feel good about being “spiritual.” There is no room for going through the motions. There is no room for the shallow and superficial. There is no room for looking good on the outside when the inside is a white washed tomb. (Matthew 23:27)
If we have any chance at all, we must press into the deeper places with God. We must spend time with Him. We must come to know Him and know His heart. Only then will we come to trust Him that no matter the weather, we will not be moved. We will not be destroyed. We will not be shaken!
We will, however, stand stronger because of it. Weathering the storms :)
James 1:2-4 “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.”

Another week!
I cannot believe August is here and in full swing! I’m so not ready for school to start! I’m definitely one who likes my kids home, hanging out, etc! One more month, please?
On other notes… Yesterday was awesome!
Setlist:
- All things are Possible
- Here I am to Worship
- God is Able
- How Great is our God
The worship team did a great job introducing a new song: God is Able! This song has been on my heart since I first heard it.. Through all things, all hurts, pains, total lows, God is Able to see us through! Live like you believe it! Live and love KNOWING God is by your side!
Thanks to everyone for making the picnic fabulous! Great fun! Love our GBC family!!
See you next week! Much to be done :)
